The Radial ProAV1 is a professional passive multimedia direct box (DI) designed for integrating consumer audio devices and instruments into professional PA and recording systems. It provides a simple, reliable solution for connecting laptops, tablets, smartphones, keyboards, CD players, and instruments while ensuring clean, noise-free signal transfer.
Built as a flexible “all-in-one” interface for AV and live sound applications, the ProAV1 features multiple input options including 1/4", RCA, 3.5mm stereo, and line-level XLR. These inputs allow a wide range of devices to be connected without adapters, making it ideal for installations, live events, education environments, and portable AV setups.
The unit automatically sums stereo signals to mono at the output, helping reduce channel usage and simplify system routing in live sound environments. A high-quality transformer-based passive design ensures full electrical isolation, eliminating ground loop noise while maintaining a smooth, natural frequency response.
Designed to handle both consumer and professional signal levels, the ProAV1 includes a -15dB pad for high-output devices and delivers a balanced mic-level XLR output suitable for mixing consoles and audio interfaces. Its rugged steel construction ensures long-term durability in demanding live and installed environments.
