The Radial JDI Duplex is a professional dual-channel passive direct box designed for high-performance stereo and multi-source applications in live sound, studio recording, and broadcast environments. Built around two premium Jensen transformers, it delivers exceptional signal clarity, wide bandwidth, and complete electrical isolation for noise-free audio performance.
The Duplex is ideal for connecting stereo keyboards, digital pianos, playback systems, and a wide range of line-level or instrument sources to professional mixing consoles. Its passive transformer-based design ensures natural tone reproduction with extremely low distortion, while effectively eliminating hum and buzz caused by ground loops.
A wide range of input options makes the JDI Duplex highly versatile, including 1/4”, RCA, 3.5mm stereo, and XLR inputs. This allows seamless integration with consumer devices, studio equipment, and professional +4dB line-level sources without the need for adapters or additional interfaces.
Each channel features transformer isolation, a -15dB pad for high-output sources, ground lift switching, and polarity reverse control for precise phase alignment in complex audio systems. The result is a flexible, reliable DI solution for demanding professional applications.
Housed in a rugged 14-gauge steel chassis, the JDI Duplex is built for touring durability while maintaining the pristine audio quality expected from Radial’s flagship passive DI designs.
