Beyerdynamic's double win at What Hi-Fi Awards 2017

Amiron Home and Byron both win in their respective headphone groups and price categories

It's that time of year again and once more beyerdynamic's latest headphone models have held their own against stiff competition to win in two categories in this years What Hi-Fi Awards.

Amiron Home won the best home on-ear heaphones price at £400 +, beating a number of considerably more expensive competitors and reminding us why What Hi-Fi had this to say about them earlier this year in their  5-star review:

"The level of level of transparency and range that these Amirons provide means that, if you put high quality sound into it, you’ll get high quality sound out of it."

Our second winners were the Byron wired model that won best in-ear headphones under £50, echoing the praise the also received in their own 5-star review at the beginning of 2017:

"Beyerdynamic has made a spectacular return to the budget earphone market – these Byron in-ears are now setting the standards at this price."
