The DN9680-MM multi-mode optical fibre transceiver module kit is a retrofit replacement to convert two KLARK TEKNIK DN9680 8 Port AES50 Extender and Multiplexer units from single mode fibre to multi-mode fibre operation. A pair of DN9680 units fitted with DN9680-MM modules enables a bidirectional optical link on one multi-mode dual fibre cable and supports the transmission of 192 bidirectional channels of 24 bit digital audio at 96 kHz sample rate over a 500 metre range.
An internal dual multi-mode optical fibre cable terminating in LC-Duplex connectors is included to link the optical fibre module to the Neutrik opticalCON DUO connector mounted on the rear panel of the DN9680.
