Established in 1992 by Andrew Grayland and John Austin, XTA has become a leading name in production of amplification products used extensively around the world in both live touring and installed applications. In March 2007 MC² Audio and XTA Electronics merged together two of the most respected English professional audio manufacturing companies.

The APA Series and DPA Series are Signal Processing Amplifiers with extensive processing, connectivity and control capabilities. XTA also offer a range of Audio Management Systems. The 4 and 5 Series amplifiers combines masses of DSP power with multiple analog and digital I/O and allows you to configure even the largest and most demanding audio systems with pure ease.

In past years, XTA's Audio Distribution Systems have been at the frontline of notable events in the live performance sector including Glastonbury festival, Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Take That - to name a few. The DS8000 is a flexible, rugged high-quality distribution system offering subtle panel lighting for dark under-stage environments and the option of adding an ADC card for integration into digital networks. Going digital with the DS8000D adds even more flexibility with 2x8 AES outputs, word clock symbolisation and master clock out features to its comprehensive analogue output makeup.
