AtlasIED GLOBALCOM®
The NEW STANDARD in Enterprise-Wide Communications
For more than 40 years, GLOBALCOM® has been a tested and proven solution for mission-critical communications in the world’s largest airports and transportation hubs. With patented technologies developed specifically for voice evacuation, life safety, and general communications processes, GLOBALCOM® sets the standard for mass notification systems in healthcare, industrial, higher education, and transportation applications.
Dependability
When communications MUST happen to support standard processes and inform during emergency events, you need a system you can depend on.
A GLOBALCOM® system constantly monitors itself for connection disruptions and hardware malfunctions. When a fault is identified, a notification is sent and any available redundancies are activated to ensure messages can always be delivered.
In addition, GLOBALCOM® offers reporting of what announcements were sent, when they were sent, where they were triggered from, what zones they were sent to, and more.
SCALABILITY
A GLOBALCOM® system can accommodate simple needs for small health clinics and manufacturing facilities yet still powerful enough to meet the needs of large campuses and transportation hubs. Since GLOBALCOM® utilizes existing network infrastructure, it easily grows and expands with your business needs or physical building additions.
Intelligibility
BEING HEARD IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH
In order for communications to be effective, they need to be more than just heard. They need to be understood. Clear, concise, and intelligible communications keep people informed and safe.
GLOBALCOM® doesn’t just claim to provide the highest levels of intelligibility.
It’s been tested and proven in the majority of the world’s largest airports where strict requirements are upheld for mission-critical messages.
VISIBILITY
Visual communication devices can support retail advertising, provide wayfinding, and complement audible messages. When used with patented GCK software, ADA compliant scrolling text is synced with emergency audio messages.
Capability
GLOBALCOM® is an extremely capable mass notification system all on its own, but it becomes even more powerful as a communications ecosystem when other building systems are integrated with it.
As a centralized communications platform, GLOBALCOM® provides a voice to systems that would otherwise operate independently and expands the coverage area in which messages activated by those systems can be distributed to.
DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT...
"System malfunctions and downtime are not an option when it comes to travel. For this reason, we utilized three sets of redundant servers, some of which run AtlasIED’s GCK software. Should one of the main communications servers go offline, the back-up or lifeline server takes over."
GERRY SCHEER | VP & Project Manager, Norcon | World Trade Center Transportation Hub
"Safety is paramount at JCCC. We consider this our small city and needed a solution that could allow authorized staff to issue alerts throughout the 234-acre campus—to every one of the 20 buildings plus outdoor areas in seconds instead of minutes."
ALISA PACER | Director of Emergency Management | Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, KS
"The primary goal of this project was to provide an exceptional passenger experience. Our requirements called for an audio environment that would deliver outstanding speech intelligibility that our guests would find very pleasing and to deliver the right information to the right places, with the clarity and volume level necessary for complete passenger satisfaction."
TODD VANGERPEN | Manager of Innovation and Systems | Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
"AtlasIED provides a high-quality product and system that is configurable to meet any eventual need of a transportation hub like LAX. The cross-integration and scalability of AtlasIED’s platform paired with an uncompromising level of self-monitoring and reporting capability make it a powerful player in an ever-changing environment."
