For 100 years now, beyerdynamic have strived to create high-quality audio products that delight discerning customers around the world. They have shaped the audio world and want to head into a future where pristine sound matters.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN...
Eugen Beyer was fascinated by the moving images of the emerging cinema and wanted to bring these images to life with sound.
He dedicated himself to the development and production of cinema loudspeakers and founded the company “Elektrotechnische Fabrik Eugen Beyer” in 1924.
This laid the foundation for today's beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG.
IMPORTANT MILESTONES
Since the founding of beyerdynamic 100 years ago, we have continuously introduced innovative products in the areas of headphones, microphones and conference technology.

beyerdynamic still manufacture more than 85% of the headphones and microphones they sell in Germany. The majority of the necessary processes take place at the company site in Heilbronn – from research and development, to product design and construction, to logistics and marketing.
What beyerdynamic's products across the entire range have in common is the fact that they represent the company’s constant desire to innovate, and its continuous efforts to take the technology involved to the next level. This was the case back when Eugen Beyer founded the company almost 100 years ago, and it is still the case today. There’s nothing that can’t be improved, and beyerdynamic work on this every day...

beyerdynamic is still a 100% family-owned business to this day. Andreas Rapp took over the management of the company in 2023 and set himself the goal of leading beyerdynamic into its anniversary year and beyond into a successful future.
beyerdynamic passionately pursue the vision of always creating the best audio solutions for their customers, with innovative and durable products in all areas of the company.
Today, more than 419 employees pursue this mission at the Heilbronn and Talheim sites. beyerdynamic is represented internationally by a sister company in Farmingdale (USA) and a subsidiary in Shenzhen (China)
DT 770 PRO X LIMITED EDITION
THE NEXT CHAPTER OF A STUDIO LEGEND
To celebrate their 100-year company anniversary, beyerdynamic are releasing the DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition, a time-limited special edition of studio headphones.
They combine the reference-setting features of the DT 770 PRO with the flexibility of the dynamic STELLAR.45 driver system and a detachable cable.
They are hand made in Germany, from robust metal parts and impact and scratch resistant ABS plastic. For sustainability reasons, almost every part of the studio headphones can be replaced.
