Novum AV chooses MC² Audio

Novum AV a well respected supplier of first class audio visual solutions to corporate events, conferences and festivals recently invested in a significant stock of equipment to bring their audio production capabilities up to date while streamlining their existing overhaul of brand names. Novum’s technical team chose MC² over the stiff competition from other popular DSP amplifiers.

Novum’s commercial director, Tim Jacques was keen to choose a brand that would form a base offering future proofing for subsequent DSP amplifcation investments and thus chose to invest in MC² Audio's Delta Series amplifiers with DSP which were supplied by the official MC² UK distributors, POLAR. XTA’s Audiocore interface had a large part to play because of its familiarity and ease of use along with the natural sound of the amplifier however the 8 channels of processing – 4 to the amp and 4 aux outputs convinced the team it was the obvious choice.

Novum’s commercial director, Tim Jacques comments:

"In this current tranche of investment, we essentially had two issues to resolve. First, we were looking to overhaul our point source stock, and secondly we wanted to set a foundation and a direction for our next investment into a large-format solution. We decided that it was time to streamline the stock and find a brand that both met our performance criteria and helped reduce weight. Much of our previous audio stock was over 10 years old and over the years we had gradually built up a wide range of different brands to respond to the varying needs of our clients. Whilst our customers have always been delighted with our service, system design and setup was getting ever more complicated with five different speaker brands in various formats and three different brands of amplifiers."
