AMX & Adobe Flash Player Update

You may be aware that some time ago Adobe announced that it was no longer supporting Flash Player and that it would be removed from future releases of web browsers.

Recent Harman products released under the AMX brand have been designed to operate without the use of Adobe Flash Player but there are some current and legacy products that still use Flash.

As a result of this, Harman has taken steps to remove the use of Flash from many legacy products that are still in use, as well as current RMS software, by releasing a series of Software, Firmware and Web Module updates.

Resource Management Suite Enterprise (RMS-ENT) v4.8

This latest version of RMS is now available without any Adobe Flash pages. All previous Flash content has been replaced with HTML5 making it not only compatible with current web browsers but also increases flexibility by allowing access from iOS devices, which was previously an issue with Flash.

This earlier version of the DVX system was superseded a number of years ago but is still in use at many sites. Although all systems settings can be made using code, we felt that it was important to allow some control over the switcher settings from a web browser. To assist with this we have created web module which is available to download from out InConcert Partner site that provides control over the majority of system functionality.
