AMX Introduces SVSI N3300 Series 4K60 H.26x/Dante AV-H Encoders and Decoders

HARMAN Professional Solutions, the global leader in audio, lighting, video and control systems, announced its new AMX SVSI N3300 Series Encoders and Decoders. The feature-rich series offers greater streaming flexibility and interoperability, and is ideal for almost any streaming application but is especially applicable for colleges and universities, casinos, courtrooms, hospitality, and government applications.

The N3300 Series delivers the highest quality 4K60 H.26x and Dante AV-H video content at the lowest bandwidth to extend the reach of SVSI 4K60 networked AV solutions to the WAN for streaming, video to desktop, digital signage, set-top boxes, or mobile device applications.

In addition to transmitting HDCP content from N3300 Encoders to Decoders, they also feature recording of video to a USB 3.0 external drive on encoders, video preview images viewable from the built-in web interface or from a touch panel, and enhanced support for high-security networks. Dante AV-H, a standard for AVoIP devices created to allow for the interoperability of multiple devices on the network is also supported. With Dante AV-H, N3300 products are compatible with Dante Studio, a suite of software tools for PC, that allows you to monitor or bring video directly into UC, recording, production, or streaming applications without the need for additional hardware.

Available in stand-alone box and card form factors, N3300 Encoders simultaneously output both 4K60 H.26x and 1080p H.26x video streams to provide the best video quality locally and the lowest bandwidth video for remote viewing or recording when required.

“We’re really excited to introduce the N3300 Series as it gives us the ability to offer extremely high-quality 4K60 H.26x or Dante AV-H streaming as well as the ability to simultaneously output a 1080p H.26x video stream to provide the best video quality locally and the lowest bandwidth video for remote viewing,“ said Kyle Barron, Networked AV Product Manager, HARMAN Professional Solutions. “This series also empowers new opportunities for hybrid learning and virtual collaboration, exemplifying the AMX commitment to offer more truly impactful and cost-effective possibilities for networked AV.”

DANTE AV-H

N3300 models feature Video and Audio interoperability with products based on Dante AV-H technology. H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC video compression standards are both supported.

HIGH-QUALITY 4K60 H.26X

High-quality H.26x 4K60 4:4:4 streaming delivers excellent video quality for transmitting both live video and detailed content within classrooms, meeting spaces, courtrooms, bars, and other applications.

HIGH-COMPATIBILITY, LOW-BANDWIDTH 1080P SECONDARY STREAM

N3300 Encoders simultaneously output both 4K60 H.26x and 1080p H.26x video streams to provide the best video quality locally and the lowest bandwidth video for remote viewing or recording when required.

USB 3.0 RECORDING TO AN EXTERNAL DRIVE

N3300 Encoders feature full-bandwidth USB 3.0 video recording of non-HDCP content on an external USB drive. Additional features include the ability to schedule the transfer of recordings from a connected USB drive to a network storage system.

ENTERPRISE NETWORKING

Multicast support, VLAN tagging, QoS, and the latest N3300 integrated security features ease enterprise IT teams’ ability to manage network traffic effectively, which can allow SVSI AVoIP solutions to share the enterprise network with other systems.

OPEN DIRECT-CONTROL API

An open API makes it possible for any control system or application, such as Zoom Rooms, to control the device. Whether N3300 models are being included in the project as part of a larger HARMAN Professional installation, or it’s the only AMX product in an installation with many other control and audio products from various manufacturers, the open API will allow it to be integrated seamlessly.

AMX Introduces New HydraPort® Architectural Connectivity Modules for USB-C to HDMI Retractable Cable Connections and USB-C Charging

HARMAN Professional Solutions, the global leader in audio, lighting, video and control systems, announced three new AMX HydraPort USB-C modules to ensure that modern conference spaces and users have all the connectivity options needed to empower impactful meeting space collaboration. A new USB-C to HDMI Module with Retractable Cable provides a dedicated video connection for outputting content from laptops and mobile devices to in-room video networks. Additionally, two new USB-C charging modules are available – with or without an included power supply.

No matter what type of A/V, power, or networking connection you need to support today’s meeting space collaboration needs, the industry-leading and award-winning AMX HydraPort Architectural Connectivity System most likely supports it with a variety of chassis sizes, finishes, and over 50 global-friendly modules to choose from.

The new USB-C to HDMI Module with Retractable Cable delivers digital video in resolutions up to 4K@60Hz. With a retractable USB-C cable on top of the table and an HDMI output underneath it, this solution simplifies connecting modern laptops and mobile devices to your video network. The compact, easy-to-install solution organizes and hides cables in virtually any type of conference table, including narrow tables and those with glass inlay.

The two new USB-C charging modules provide both USB-C and USB-A connections with charging capability to the HydraPort chassis. The power symbol on the modules makes it easy for users to identify that power is available. The HPX-USBC-US65 includes a two-port power supply with US-style, Type A plug, capable of providing up to 65W over USB-C, and up to 30W over USB-A. The HPX-USBC-100 provides all the functionality of the HPX-USBC-US65 but does not include a power supply and can be combined with a user-supplied power supply, compatible with any global power plug standard.

“These new AMX HydraPort USB-C modules make charging and outputting video from laptops and mobile devices a breeze to ensure any meeting space is equipped to support the needs of any visiting user,” said Rob Norton, Product Manager, User Interfaces, HARMAN Professional Solutions. “This is exactly what we hoped to achieve with the HydraPort system. As technology evolves, you have a product that is continually capable of supporting users, the market, and just about any connection or format.”
