Internal Technical Sales

The successful applicant will join POLAR to bridge the gap between our Integrated Solutions Team and our Technical Support Team. 

Your responsibility will be to field in-bound technical calls from our customer base who require product advice and assistance on specification of small systems and BoM’s (Bills of Materials)

The role will be varied in terms of technical knowledge; our range includes the simplest of amplifier and loudspeaker combination, to conference and AV over IP technology.

Whilst the role will be technically challenging from day one, you will be fully supported by our in house technical team, along with the Integrated Solutions team; your role will be vital in ensuring a quick response to customer requirements over telephone or email. Training will be provided on an on-going basis, and will encompass many aspects of Audio Visual. Experience in the field of audio is desired with an ability in sales but is not essential.

What is essential, is that you are enthusiastic, well organised with a methodical approach to organisation and a great communicator. You will be part of a team, but you must be self motivated and driven. Most of all, you must be committed to sales of a Technical nature.


Key responsibilities will include:

• Building relationships with existing trade customers

• Fielding inbound sales calls from our trade customers and end users

• Understanding client requirements and suggesting product and solutions to meet client needs

• Working with the field based Integrated Solutions team to support them on a Technical Sales Basis, under guidance from the Technical Team

• Good communication with colleagues and ensuring that sales opportunities are fielded and handled efficiently and professionally
