Is there anything left that hasn’t been said about 2020? No sector of our industry has remained unaffected by the impact of COVID19, and the consequences for many have been devastating. Whilst the experience of trading during the pandemic has been universally tough, the POLAR team has adapted to turbulent conditions and applied itself to ensuring that efficient customer service remains at the forefront of our business.

As a supplier of music equipment, audio visual products and solutions to a diverse marketplace, we’ve witnessed innovation and imagination of the highest order from our customers and their clients. The use of AV technology has been central to new ways of working in practically every commercial, entertainment and educational setting, and it’s arguable, if not highly probable, that in a post-COVID19 world, some of the cultural and technical shifts in working practice will remain very much in place. Working from home, at least in part, is now clearly here to stay, so the need for technology that enables collaboration and communication on far more than just a basic level is now essential.

During 2020, POLAR has continued to grow, and we’ve been proactive in adding a number of new brands to the company’s portfolio that specifically address the needs of this culture shift. Brands such as ClearOne and T1V offer cutting-edge solutions for interactive collaboration whatever the setting, whilst AtlasIED, Utelogy, Bluesound Professional, LEA Professional and AMX add to our existing brands to further broaden our scope in meeting the rapidly evolving demands of every size and scale of AV project.

2020 comes to a close with hope very much on the horizon. The POLAR team looks forward with optimism to embracing the challenges of a new year, and re-engaging with our customers on the face-to-face level that has been so sorely missed during very difficult times. Let the bounce-back begin...
