The beauty of an AVoIP system is its flexibility and scalability. Unlike traditional HDbaseT distribution systems, AVoIP allows you to create imbalanced matrices without limits. The ‘video switch’ at the centre of an AVoIP system is a generic 1Gb or 10Gb Ethernet switch and the expansion of the distribution system can easily be modified with additional encoders or decoders.

Whilst to some, this is a fairly new technology, POLAR have been working with media networks for over a decade and our knowledge and experience of AV, specifically video over IP has been built in the last 4 years, with project experience of both large and small deployments.
